Hair can be damaged if you brush it wet

Unfortunately, that may not know that brushing hair right after wetting it can easily lead to tangles and breakage. It is preferable to allow your hair dry and then use your fingers to detangle it prior to using a hair brush on it.
Comb your hair first before brushing
Before brushing, you should first comb through your hair to avoid tangling. Commence combing your hair from the tips first. Make sure to comb through all the knots and detangle it before you start going higher. Getting rid of messy tangles in your hair, it is best to start by combing only a few strands at a time until a smooth continuous motion of each stroke is achieved. Once your hair has been completely detangled you can begin to brush it the whole length through. Start brushing from the root of your hair down to the tips.
Frizzy hair can result from combing it with a non-metal brush
The problem with cheap, plastic hair brushes is that they can create an electrostatic charge and make your hair fly away. There are many types of hair brushes
There are several types of hair brushes and it’s helpful to know what each type is for so that you can select the right one. The vent hair brush, being the most basic, gets it’s name from the vents in it that let’s the air flow through. The vent hair brush is appropriate for providing volume and height. Another type is the styler brush, which has no vents and forms a semi-circle bend. For bob-style cuts and mid-length hair, styler brushes are suitable. For men, the cushion brush is the brush of choice. It has a base that is softly cushioned. For mid-length hair, or hair that is not very thick, this is an ideal brush. Another variety of hair brush has a round shape. These are probably best known for creating curls but that is not only what they are used for. Round hair brushes are also great for smoothing and straightening wavy or curly hair. The paddle brush looks exactly like its namesake. It’s much bigger and flatter than the cushion brush. For smoothing hair that is naturally straight, or for long hair in general, paddle brushes work well.
Brushing is not enough to achieve the best look for your hair. It is not only important to use the right kind of products on your hair, but also to brush it in the right manner.
