A Feather Rose Imitates The Real Thing
All parts of a feather rose are made of real feathers. These roses seem & feel like the real ones, but they’ll never wither. Feather roses can be found in a variety of colours & make a great gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, and Valentine’s Day. However, it doesn’t have to be a special occasion to give a feather rose, it can be given at any time of year.
Feather roses are made of natural goose feathers. Both the petals & leaves on a feather rose is made with feathers. The flower stems on feather roses are created from handmade paper or metal. After touching a feather rose, you can not help but notice how soft & silky it is.
Before each rose is made, the feathers are washed, steamed, disinfected, dyed, dried, trimmed & shaped, & then finally assembled by hand. The colours on a feather rose are just as attractive as the real roses & can be found in almost all colours of the spectrum. The joy of having feather roses is they don’t require maintenance like real roses need.
There has been a tradition for many centuries to dry roses. Because there is currently no other better way to preserve. Drying them is a lengthy & difficult process & if not handled properly or cut when they’re in perfect bloom, the petals will just fall off. There is no longer a need to go through such a labor-intensive process when feather flowers are so readily available. Plus, they can be bought online at very affordable prices.
The gift of a feather rose is a wonderful way to create special memories and keep them alive. For example, if used in a wedding bouquet & the bride would like to keep her flowers, the best way to do that’s with feather roses. Roses are always highly favoured by the people when it comes to major events, including weddings & there is no reason for feather roses to not be used as a substitute for the natural ones.
