Merry Christmas
Every year, it is no doubt that Christmas is a festival of primary importance to people. Men and women, young and old are so happy and try to relax and amuse themselves as much as possible, busy decorating beautiful Christmas trees and preparing delicious food. However, one of the most significant things people will never forget is to prepare all kinds wonderful gifts.
This year’s Christmas is coming, or to be more exact, it is tomorrow. This morning, I went the city centre, where permeated with an atmosphere of joy, to buy gifts for my families. I bought a pair of UGG boots for my mother, a telescope for my dear father who is a typical astrophile, and an MP4 for my younger sister. I’m sure they will like my gifts and also expect their gifts prepared for me.
When I am appreciating those wonderful gifts I bought in the morning, I suddenly realize that I have forgotten something important. Oh, my god! I forgot to prepare a gift for one of the most important persons to me—my boyfriend. How careless I am! And there is only 8 hours left for the Christmas! So anxious I am that I rush out to take bus to the city center again, thinking about what to purchase for my sweetheart.
It is always difficult to buy an appropriate gift for a man. Hanging around in the street for about two hours, I still can’t find anything after my heart. A basketball is too childish for my boyfriend?who is already a working man. How about a pair of sports shoes? But when I think of that he has several pairs of sports shoes, I give it up. It really baffles me!
Just as troubling myself over what to buy, I catch a glimpse of a sunglasses shop. Suddenly it occurs to me that why not buy my boyfriend a pair of sunglasses since he is a guy who likes to be cool. I happily step into the shop and select a pair of black sunglasses with the help of the shop assistant.
Now, Christmas is only four hours away from me, and I put all the gifts I prepared together. I firmly believe this will be a merry Christmas!
