Light Yellow
Light yellow mustard is probably the most difficult shade of mustard to wear as it has an undertone of creaminess that washes most people out. It’s easy to wear it if you’re either blonde with very light skin tones or have darker rich olive undertones. It is gonna be difficult to wear if you’re skin tone is somewhere in between (neither extremely light nor dark).
Camel Brown
French mustard with a camel brown-inspired color is great on food, but a no-no in apparel. It is however a great color to use in accessories such as in a belt, bag or shoes, or in skirts and pants which are far enough away from your face.
Deep Gold
Deep gold color, think English Mustard, is the ideal color liven up any winter wardrobe. It is one of the most beautiful shade to wear. Being similar to strong gold it induce some warmness to the cold seasons’ days.
In the end, for a chic and formal look, you can wear mustard with navy blue or dark grey. For your daily errands, you can wear it with olive green or brown. For a more funky style it really looks great with purple. Just choose whatever your style and taste are and most importantly have fun pairing your outfit because in the end that’s what fashion is all about.
