Kazuo Kawasaki and Minebea Co Ltd are combinely developed a flat surface keyboard. It is a shiny device. This is named as ‘Cool Leaf’.
It is totally covered with acrylic board, the surface is flat and there is no gap between the parts. It is designed with a new material which looks like a mirror, touch pannel and light plate type backlight are also stacked.
The flat surface keyboard helps in preventing the dust, we can also clean easily. When power is off, if we touch the surface then it will turn on power and displays letters, numbers.
Minebea is also planning to expand their services in different areas like residential devices, medical devices etc. The price details will be announced shortly.
